From December 6th to 7th, the 2025 Textile and Garment Industry Intelligent Application, Product Innovation and Green Sustainable Development Conference, with the theme of "Intelligent Innovation Integration, Upgraded Development", was successfully held in Pingdingshan. Fu Guangwei, the president of the China Textile Engineering Society, Wan Funiu, a second-level inspector of the Henan Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and Duan Zhiguang, the vice mayor of Pingdingshan Municipal People's Government, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Wang Zheng, the secretary of the Party group and chairperson of the Pingdingshan Municipal Association for Science and Technology, Li Guojun, the vice chairperson, and industry leaders and elites attended the meeting. The conference was guided by the China Textile Engineering Society and the Henan Association for Science and Technology, and jointly organized by the Henan Textile Engineering Society, China Yarn Network and the Pingdingshan Association for Science and Technology. More than 300 senior managers and middle-level technical backbones from well-known textile and garment enterprises both inside and outside the province attended the event, and over 10,000 people participated online.

The intelligent and green development of the textile and garment industry is of vital importance to the economic transformation and upgrading of the entire province. The Henan Provincial Association for Science and Technology has always attached great importance to the scientific and technological innovation work in the textile industry, actively built a platform for cooperation among industry, academia and research, and promoted the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements. This conference will inject new vitality into the technological innovation of the textile industry in Henan Province. It is hoped that through this conference, the integration of scientific and technological innovation resources in Henan Province can be promoted, and the technological bottlenecks of Henan's textile and garment industry can be broken through to enhance its core competitiveness.
